The start of January saw the results of the most competitive awards in Bingoland, the Which Bingo Site of the Year Award and the New Site of the Year Award. 2008 was an amazing year for bingo online, as its popularity has soared to a record breaking level. This is proved by the amount of votes that were cast by the people who know best, the players and fans of UK bingo! This is only the 3^rd year of the Which Bingo Awards, however all sites and players hold the awards in high regard and find it a huge achievement to be a winner or a member of the winning site.

The awards are a marvellous way to show the growth in UK bingo, and offer rewards to those sites who the players feel deserve it. The 2008 winner has grown so much from being 14^th in the competition the year before; to being number 1 site of the year, this year!
